1. Introduction of laterite nickel rotary kiln metallurgy machine
Large-scale roastery reduction rotary kiln is one of the key equipment in the whole laterite nickel smelting process. The ore enters the rotary kiln after drying, and is heated to 800℃ in the rotary kiln to remove the surface moisture and water of crystallization, and partially reduce the iron, nickel and cobalt oxides in the ore, and then enter the electric furnace for melting.
2. Structure of laterite nickel rotary kiln metallurgy machine
Nickel ore rotary kiln is composed of cylinder body, rotating device, support, retaining wheel supporting device, kiln lining, kiln tail, kiln seal, kiln head cover and fuel device. The kiln cylinder is a heated rotating part, made of high quality carbon steel plate coil welding, the cylinder is supported on the supporting rotating device through the wheel belt, and one or several supporting devices are provided with a mechanical or hydraulic retaining wheel to control the axial movement of the cylinder; The transmission decoration makes the cylinder rotate at the speed required by the process through the tooth ring located in the middle of the cylinder; Due to the need of installation and maintenance, the large rotary kiln of Jinyang Nickel mine is equipped with an auxiliary transmission device for the kiln body to turn at a very low speed. In order to prevent cold air from entering and flue gas and dust from spilling out of the cylinder, reliable sealing devices for kiln tail and kiln head are provided at the feed end and discharge end of the cylinder.
